Today is like Christmas come early for bookworms. First, this morning Advent Books released their first recommendations (look for mine coming soon) and now we’ve got the launch of Canada Reads 2010 (one of the great sites that I work on for the CBC).
It’s hard to believe that just a few short months ago I thought I was losing my dream job. I’m so thrilled to be a part of this great program for yet another year (and that the Book Fates saw it in their hearts to keep me around).
For the full scoop on all the books, panelists and authors, check out the Canada Reads 2010 web site and Facebook fan page. You can also join the CBC Book Club, currently hosted by Julie Wilson (a.k.a. Book Madam). The web site, Twitter and Facebook fan page will continue to provide all sorts of wonderful content to keep the discussion flowing until the radio program airs in March.

Gen X and Fall on Your Knees are rather obvious choices. Glad to at least see Nikolski on here – at least a bit off the beaten path.
Look like great choices. Have already read Fall on Your Knees. Think I will start with Good to a Fault. Liked her reasons for selecting this morning.
B.Kienapple: Thanks for stopping by the blog! I think the list has a bit of something for everyone, no? It’s such a diverse audience, finding between books that are off the beaten path and those that are more obvious is a fine balancing act.
Anne: What did you think of Fall on Your Knees? I’m looking forward to re-reading it as it’s been over ten years since my first reading of it.
