Tammi: It's definitely a convenient appliance to have in the kitchen on groggy workday mornings. I'm glad the grocery stores are carrying the t-discs. I wasn't sure where we'd be able to find them otherwise.

Danielle: For the things that Tassimo makes, it's all pretty tasty. It's no French pressed coffee but it's still pretty yummy.

Melissa: The waste is still my biggest issue so I don't use it as much as Cokebaby. If I'm in a rush (or out of milk) it's handy to have though..!

Julian: I do agree that it would be annoying to brew individual cups when company is over. That's when we dust off the other coffee apparatus. LOL.

Alberto: Sorry. Still not interested. It's not a matter of science but personal preference.

All scientific analysis confirm that Kopi Luwak is not dangerous for health. Dr. Marcone said that as a scientist, he doubted about the safety of a product which has been in contact with excrement but his final tests show that due to the thorough washing process the quantity of pathogen organisms in the beans is insignificant. Whatever the washing process misses the roasting and brewing process will make up for.

Kopi Luwak is not a myth! If you want to know all about Kopi Luwak or want to try it, please visit: http://www.realkopiluwak.com There you can find a description of the Luwak animal, the process to obtain the Kopi Luwak, how to make a perfect cup of coffe, warnings about buying kopi luwak, description of this rare coffee, pics and video. You can also buy kopi luwak online. Thanks

I haven't used a Tassimo... but I can say I do certainly enjoy my Keurig coffee brewer. It's only annoying when you have a few friends over; making one cup at a time can be a pain in the backside then (sadly, I broke my giant french press a few months ago).

Tassimo was my first introduction to lattes. My friend's sister got one as a wedding gift but didn't care for lattes so we ended up trying them out. Taste wise I thought it was pretty good and the machine is fun to use but, like you, throwing out all those discs would weigh on my conscious and has probably prevented me from buying one of my own. If they could make the plastic in the discs recyclable I would be impressed.

In my opinion there is nothing better than a tasty cup of Tassimo! When I was back East (Nova Scotia) visiting my brother he showed me how to make a delicious cup. I finished the whole things and many times over. Back at home (Vancouver) my boyfriend always makes fun of me cause I never finish a cup or our regular brand. I tell him we need a Tassimo... then he laughs at me cause he doesn't believe that I finished a whole cup of it when I was visiting. It's a little joke we have.

I also *won* a Tassimo from Tassimo Canada. Like you, I was also skeptical at first but was pleasantly surprised at the box of goodies that arrived at my door. I'm not a coffee drinker but am a tea lover and so far am really enjoying the chai tea latte and the green tea. My other half is a coffee lover and surprisingly he has really taken to the machine. He gets excited to try out a new coffee each day and his current favorites are the Starbucks coffee as well as the espresso. He actually gets excited to use it each morning before work. We were happy to learn that we are able to purchase t-discs at our local grocery store. What was initially a great new appliance in the kitchen to "try" has now become one of the most used!
