So…. What beers do you offer? . With the Rare Brid not brewing, that part of NS is kind of a beer wasteland. I have almost ended up at one of your dinner events, maybe this year.

I agree Michelle, reading this post and the comments in the morning is dangerous! My mouth is watering at the idea of Baco Noir and Dragon’s Breath cheese. Mmm. I had to look up where the Des Barres Manor Inn is located (Guysborough), and am intrigued with the idea of a weekend in the country. Thanks for the post, Audrey. We’ll look forward to meeting you in person sometime soon!

Friends spent last weekend at the Des Barres Manor Inn. Loved everything and highly recommend it. Especially their wine festival dinner with NS wines.

It’s wonderful to see the enthusiasm for trying new wine and the support for our wines here in Nova Scotia. We enjoying pairing wine and cheese at DesBarres Manor Inn and this can be a simple and fun party at home. An all Nova Scotia favourite is the Nova Scotia Dragon’s Breath paired with the Jost Baco Noir. Simply delicious. Remember you do not have to swallow all the wines and small amounts allow you to travel through the wines and cheeses!
