Gifted Typist: It's so strange, isn't it? I think babies are beautiful but sculptures of giant baby heads, not so much.

Ben: I've seen baby heads in art before too and they're always creepy no matter what the size.

Jenn: Just imagine what we were thinking. It took me a while to process. Thankfully we were able to laugh it off right away. The opera house itself needed some restoration and because we were in the cheap seats we had to climb up six flights of stairs using the back entrance so we wouldn’t mingle with the upper crust of society who had paid full price. It was the kind of opera experience that would deter people from going again if it was their first experience but thankfully we have the memories of Venice to fall back on. Oh, and it makes for a great anecdote.

Wow... I don't even know how to comment on this. It seems completely bizarre and not at all what one would expect from the opera. Hopefully this doesn't taint your affection for opera in general!
